RACK & Giveaway!

As I've read over my blog reader this month, I've seen many others moms sharing about their children they are missing this holiday season. I've been encouraged reading how they are still including them in their celebrations, even many who are further along on this journey than I am. Just goes to show no amount of time will remove the pain we feel or the holes left in our lives by our sweet children. They will always be a part of our family!

I have mentioned a few times about R.A.C.K (random acts of Christmas kindness) as a wonderful way to bless someone while honoring & including Noah (and other babies) during the Christmas season. I have appreciated the few friends who have done that this year already! After all, isn't that what Christmas is about, giving to & blessing others?

One of these sweet friends recently blessed me with a gift. She said she wanted to do something for us for Christmas in Noah's memory and sent me some wonderful smelling Scentsy products to encourage me this Christmas season! I want to build off what she did and pay it forward.

So for a Christmas gift in honor of my precious Noah, I want to bless one of YOU with this awesome gift! It is one of the Scentsy warmers called "Heavenly". My friend said immediately it makes her think of Noah when she looks at, and I agree! I think of Heaven & Noah when I see the angels on it. In addition to the warmer, you'll also get 3 different scent bars in the scents of Luna, Black Raspberry Vanilla & Peppermint Dreams. (and boy do they all smell AMAZING!)

There are several ways you can enter this drawing listed below. For those interested, one of the entries is for doing a RACK in Noah's memory. I will leave this drawing open for a week so you'll have time to fill out the other entries then come back & fill that one out if you'd like.

"It is more blessed to give than to receive."

  6. This may be a double post - I'm not seeing the comment I left, so maybe it went into moderation? We are all volunteering tomorrow at a Christmas toy store for families in need. I'm glad for an opportunity to plug my kids into a helping role right now.

  9. What a beautiful gesture! 2 Christmas's ago, the car in front of us paid for our order at Starbucks (a rare indulgance). I was going through a lot of grief (my dad had just died). It was such a sweet, random hug from the universe.

  29. One of our favorite traditions is to go to the nursing home and sing Christmas carols to the residents. Seeing their smiles and them singing along always brings such warmth to my heart. It also helps to teach my daughter to share the joy of Christmas with others less fortunate.

  33. I am looking forward to our Christmas Eve Eve tradition. We gather with friends (AKA like our family) for a tamale feast before church service. The church service is uplifting ... it is truly outstanding! Then, we head over to Trail of Lights. We visit afterwards until the wee hours. We read Christmas books that discuss the real reason why we celebrate Christmas. It is a wonderful night full of joy and love. I would love to win this giveaway so that I can gift it to a friend that recently lost her child. She wears an angel necklace to remember her baby girl and I immediately thought of her and her family. Thank you for the opportunity!

  34. We have a secret sister program at church. One of the ladies in our church doesn't have a lot of money and doesn't have a lot of friends. Although I have a secret sister assigned to me, I am planning on giving her something too, because she hasn't received anything from her secret sister yet.
