We both know how devastating finding out you child won't live is. ((hug)) I feel very much the same as you with this grief. It helps so much to have those who understand what it is like to walk this road.Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15431384515813384025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2272028476145850330.post-58456317115989813152013-01-11T11:02:27.126-05:002013-01-11T11:02:27.126-05:00SO Beautifully written Jenn! I have three living children who have helped me heal a little however you NEVER get over the loss of a child. You truly change - everything changes! I learned to live again, my children helped me smile again. I have two holes in my heart that will never disappear! If that is what it would take for the pain to go away then I would rather the pain never go away or lessen.

Thank you for sharing and I look forward to walking with you!Kylahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18084101452063808419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2272028476145850330.post-20426699803961484552013-01-10T13:54:27.258-05:002013-01-10T13:54:27.258-05:00Oh Jenn, Noah is so beautiful! I appreciate your honesty so much as it really bothers me when (non-babyloss) people say that time will help erase the pain. I know my grief is fresh, but I just can't imagine a day when I don't ache for my son, and to be honest, I'd rather just accept that than live in false hope or denial. I look forward to reading more...I feel like I can learn so much from you!

Love to you, Mama!Catherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13860870910413734703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2272028476145850330.post-1272954936548584832013-01-10T13:08:53.487-05:002013-01-10T13:08:53.487-05:00The picture of you holding Noah is precious. I like how you compared the loss of an arm to living with the loss of a child - you will never get a new one, but learn how to live differently with the part that is missing. Thank you for sharing your story Jenn.

Blessings to you...Jennifer Rosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14619769165667422761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2272028476145850330.post-45598212831982337592013-01-10T13:00:46.431-05:002013-01-10T13:00:46.431-05:00Hi Jenn,

I love what you said here:

"With time, I'm learning how to live with the Noah-size shaped hole in my life, and I don't think I will fully master it until the day I die. I'm learning how to incorporate my grief as a part of me just as if I was missing an arm. You can't ever get a new arm, you have to learn how to live differently with a part of you missing. And at times, that is hard work."

That sums it up so perfectly. A Noah-sized hole in your heart...yes, I get that. Thank you for giving words to the ache...and word picture to the depth of this missing.

Much love and continued prayers for you and your family...Kelly @ Sufficient Grace Ministrieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11182310611088290551noreply@blogger.com
