I love to travel and have been able to visit many countries. I also have a passion for cooking & baking and enjoy spending time in the kitchen. I am a HUGE deal finder & love a good deal and saving money. You'll never find me paying full price for anything! When I have time, I also enjoy growing my own food, photography, reading, sewing & playing piano. I hope to soon have my own flock of chickens!
I started this blog in May of 2010 when I found out my one son had a fatal condition and wasn't expected to live. You can read about Noah's story and see how God is continuing to use our son's testimony. Grief is a lifelong journey and I continue to share from time to time my thoughts, feelings & struggles on missing my son. It is also my hope and prayer to minister to other moms who also walk the same road as I do.
I also share about things we do in our homeschool day as well as reviews I do from time to time as well. Generally speaking, I just share about our life & my thoughts in an open and honest way. I strive to be real and enjoy relating & conversing with my readers.
