August 19, Day of Hope

"August 19th is a day to break down the walls of society that keep pregnancy, infant and child loss a hush hush subject. People view the death of a baby as just a sad thing that happened. These babies that die are not sad things that happen. They are people, much loved and wanted children. They are brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, grandsons and granddaughters." ~Carly Marie Dudley

So many people love and remember you Noah!!!

  1. Rejoicing with you in God's love and joy even in the midst of sadness.

Delighted to meet you today. I hope you don't mind if I splash around a bit to get to know you. This looks like a refreshing place to dip into some serious goodness.

    Splashin',

  2. Jenn, I've been checking in from time to time to see if you are still blogging your thoughts and feelings as you are missing Noah. It's been a while since you blogged, and I hope that you are doing ok. Please take the time and effort to let us know how you are doing even if it is a repeat of previous processing. It's good for us as your friends to know what you are struggling with so we can pray for you and be there for you.
    Hugs,
    Julie

  3. Thank you Julie for the note & caring. I've had a bit of a rough time off & on again lately. Also, people seem to think since it's been a year now & I've had a living baby that I should be "all better now" well, grief just doesn't work like that, so I've been hesitant to share my thoughts & struggles. But I am trying not to worry what others think and just get back into being open & honest. Thanks for prompting me to post.
