God Provides in Amazing Ways

Last week during some hot weather we were having, I commented to my older kids I wanted to get one of those little plastic pools for my little ones to have for the summer. But right now, I am being conservative and only spending on things we need. I shouldn't have been surprised just how God would provide. I shared about some other ways God has blessed us recently.

That very same day, while I was helping some friends at our neighbors house, that neighbor blessed us with a bunch of things! River stone that she didn't know what to do with and that I really wanted to do some landscaping with, some balls for the kids and get this, she gave me one of the plastic pools that I had just said earlier that day I had wanted!! Not only that, but she also gave us a small sandbox as well!

Talk about God meeting a want above and beyond!! I simply wanted a pool, but got a sandbox and tons of river stone to do some nice landscaping all for free.

My other silent prayer request recently has been for a dishwasher. The kids and I hand wash dishes roughly 4 or so times a day. I would love to be able to save time by not having to wash so much. I have a dishwasher that is the original to the house but it is not efficient so we don't use it except for storage. I knew this would be a big request because even a used one would cost more than I could afford right now.

But God!!!

Yup, this week we acquired a dishwasher for just a few dollars from someone who was getting new appliances!!

I have really been learning to lean in on Jesus as my provider & protector. He simply calls me to trust Him and reminds me that He knows exactly what is going to happen, long before I do. While things may appear uncertain and the road rocky, He is showing me that He has got some amazing things in store for my children and I!!! We just need to remain faithful & trust in Him.  His constant provision and blessings lately are just a few of the ways He is reminding me I am his beloved child and am on the right path.

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Mark 11:24

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
James 1:12
