Beach Trip Take 2

Earlier this month, I shared how a group of us attempted a day at the beach, but it rained off and on while we were there. The kids and their friends talked about trying to go down again in hopes of having better weather so we recently gave it another shot.


And boy did we have the most perfect weather we could've asked for! It definitely made up for the cool & rainy weather we had last time.

Once again we got up early and made really good time getting down there since we didn't have to drive through pouring rain like last time.

We arrived a little before 9am and staked a spot on the beach. With having 11 kids along, everyone helped pitch in to carry stuff.

The weather couldn't have been more beautiful! It was 80 degrees but no humidity so you didn't feel like you were sweltering while sitting in the sun. In fact at time some of the kids said they were cool if they were sitting in the shade.

All in all it was a great day just hanging out and making memories!
