Well this week we totally rocked the deals. My sidekick Hannah, has taken over for me this year as I've been quite busy with the baby. She sits down to figure out deal scenarios, finds the coupons, looks up the different rebate apps on my phone and combining all of the above, she figures out just how to get things almost free!!! She has done an amazing job this year in helping me save a ton of money.
This is the picture today of everything that we got (click on to enlarge):
- 10 boxes of cereal (I never buy this kind but since it was free, the kids will be spoiled for a bit!)
- 4 bags of popcorn
- 2 bottles of Colgate mouthwash
- 2 bottles of Tide detergent
- 5 bottles of Suave body wash
- 22 bottles of shampoo & conditioner (Pantene, Tresemme, & Suave)
- 2 boxes of Puff tissues
Soooo, any guesses as to what I paid for all of this out of pocket after coupons and using extra care bucks??
$2.84!!!!!
And that's not all folks! Using some rebate apps on my phone, I am getting back $12.25!!!! AND I can't forget to mention the extra care bucks I earned from all of this. A whopping $57!!!! All those shampoos, conditioners and body washes go towards earning the extra beauty bucks so we racked in even more than just the standard ECB's.
Hannah figured out that if you were to pay full price for everything we got today it would've cost $221.80!!! WOAH! And we actually MADE money on all of this!
